All standard bar code can be read either from direct contact with the bar code, or from the distance of up to 310mm (12.21").
■ Scanning of Wide Bar Code
Extra wide bar code of up to 400mm (15.75") can be read where the minimum narrow bar width is 1.4mm (55.11 mils).

The large liquid crystal display (LCD) can show graphics as well as the standard 10 line by 26 characters. This high-contrast monochrome display also features a standard backlight function.
■ Memory up to 2 Mbytes
Three memory sizes are available - 256 Kbytes, 768 Kbytes, and 2 Mbytes for all your application needs.
■ Sturdy Design
Incorporated in the design are special rubber shock absorbers to further minimize any damage should the BHT-4000 be dropped. A convenient hand belt comes as standard with an optional neck strap.
■ Easy and High-speed Communication
The BHT-4000 features exclusive DENSO CORPORATION high-speed optical communication system. In addition, direct connections can be made to a host device from serial interface provided on the unit.
