Long Beach, Calif. — DENSO ADC, the Americas sales arm of DENSO Wave Incorporated, inventor of the QR Code®, has launched a new Web site at www.denso-adc.com. The Web site highlights DENSO ADC’s wide range of advanced-design automatic data capture systems, including handheld 1D- and 2D-barcode portable data terminals (PDTs), scanners and support software, for the North and South American markets.

A streamlined, user-friendly navigation system makes it easy to access the Web site’s highly detailed product information and specifications, as well as helpful information on 1D and 2D scanning technology. A convenient product-comparison chart allows visitors to quickly evaluate key features of different products and select those that best fit their needs, saving them valuable time.

“Our company’s philosophy is to constantly make improvements,” said John Doran, senior manager, Commercial and Industrial Systems. “This new Web site is part of our ongoing initiative to constantly improve the way we serve our customers.

“Other recent improvements include increasing the sales and customer support staff at our North American headquarters in Long Beach, California. Kevin Bradshaw, our new channel sales and business development manager, comes to us with several years of experience in the automatic data-capture resale network. Kevin’s expertise covers the range of applications most important to our customers, including point of sale (POS), traceability and genealogy, inventory and asset management, and computerized machine maintenance systems (CMMS).

“In addition, in the coming months, we will be introducing new, cutting-edge products that will allow our customers to continue to benefit from the very latest technological advances in automatic data capture.”
